| Fernand le Carrossier Running time 7mn This film for which I have kept 12 hours of footage, was shot using a DSR 300, a DSR 135 and a PD 150 (for Fernand's underwater caper)...all zooms were done on camera. I wrote the entire film and did all the editing for it. Editing time : 18 hours. <<< click on picture to view film >>> Synopsis : Fernand, a retired body mechanic takes us to his garage and shows us his collection of all cars and his sculptures. A quirky dialogue about life according to Fernand, interested in so much more than one would expect, a cross between Picasso and Ben Vautier. |

Diogal Live Running time 6mn An excerpt rrom a concert I filmed with a team of five cameramen running on free run synchronisation, and edited with the AVID multicam system. I handled the live sound recorded from two separate sources; the first came in stereo directly from the console into one of the cameras and the second was recorded to DAT using two Schoepp mics hanging from an articulated perch, then mastered via a nuendo station back home. Editing time : 24 hours. Title of the track N'deup available on the Liir album Cellulloid/Melodie. |

Baly Othmani Running time 25mn This film comemorates the great touareg artist Baly Othmani that I had recorded many times in concert over the years. This film, shot in Algeria in 2003 was originally contracted for a fiction documentary. When my friend Baly tragically died in june 2005, I decided to edit the footage shot with a small DV Sony camera and recorded with a couple of Shoepps microphones to DAT. Editing time : 15 hours |
